A testosterone charged game of cat and mouse! Finn and Brantley have a big bridge to build, that has them both pushing each others limits in more ways than one.

Loosely a student/teacher romance, but not the main focus, even though Brantley’s age hang up does earn him some pretty hot punishment.

I loved Ella’s writing style, the whole book was steaming hot from the first pages, I loved Finn’s coming of age and the snippet’s of the younger Finn we saw throughout the book.

The last few chapters gave me goosebumps with Logan and Tate, I hadn’t read the blurb correctly so missed out that this was a follow on and didn’t put 2 + 2 together… but if 2 + 2 came together in the future, I may have to buy a waterproof cover for my Kindle!

Boom, that’s was my motherfucking heart, ovaries and vagina exploding! This book was something else, where This is War, Baby took you to some very dark twisted places, leaving you unable to look at cucumbers without thinking “Gabe you sick fuck, I don’t know whether I should hate you or lay down for you”, This is Love, Baby, left you screaming for one team, then back peddling PDQ and screaming for another.

Elaborating more will ruin the suspense and surprises packed in this very skilled follow-up book, but if you loved This is War, Baby you will love , This is Love, Baby just as much, I promise you!

Kristi, your head is so fucked up, I want to peel off your skull and climb inside the darkness and rub it all over my body. You are a genius!

CEO’s are my thing, give me a hot alpha in a suit and I’m gone, knickers fall off and I’m lost in a book for hours, conjuring all sorts of images in my head.

This is Laura’s debut (happy release day!), the first book in a trilogy, and whilst I can see a lot of people falling in love with Gregory Ryans character, and the equally strong willed Scarlett Heath I just wasn’t blown away by them, I didn’t really feel a connection, or that they were suited. Laura’s writing style was good, don’t get me wrong, I think she’ll have a successful writing career. However, some parts fell flat to me, I know you can’t reinvent the wheel, and how much more can an author do with plot lines, there was some good twists and turns but in places I felt I’d read it before.

The setting of the book I could relate too, especially being a Londoner, so it was nice to identify, and picture places in my head. It does end in a cliffhanger but the follow up books are scheduled for release soon!

Loving the M/M’s that are hitting my Kindle, and this one is no exception.

Reef Reid is a pro snowboarder, and a mishap lands him in a New Zealand ski resort, instead of tropical paradise where he wanted some much needed downtime. There he meets Stratford ‘Ford’ Wallace an instructor on the ski slopes. They both get trapped during a
whiteout in a cabin where the book really starts to take shape.

The relationship builds steadily between Reef and Ford, it’s a good love story and by the end you know whatever life is going to throw at them they’ll be Shreddin’ The Gnar

I enjoyed Ann’s writing style, it was easy to follow and made a good read, I’ll certainly be watching out for more!

Whiteout doesn’t end on a cliffy, but there is more to come from Reef and Ford!

We have an English saying “you wait ages for 1 bus, then 2 come along at once”, well in this case I have 0 porn stars on my Kindle then suddenly I have 2 in a week to review.

Elyse Gilbert, nicknamed Lucky by her father because she is anything but. She’s broke, down on her luck and looking for a way to make money, so she turns to porn where she meets Q. There is an immediate attraction between the 2, even though Q struggles to admit his feelings, and Lucky feels too much. But what happens off camera as their relationship grows and secrets are revealed is when the real trouble starts for the couple.

This was a great read, Zara captured Q’s angst perfectly, and it was really well written to keep you gripped. I can see a possible spin off? but not Q and Lucky, their story is told.

400+ page filled with hot sexy passion!

I love emotion filled books, not many out of the 100’s I’ve read have made me cry, Sloth Ella James and Bright Side Kim Holden got me around 80%, Kick Push Jay Mclean at various points reminded me of my own struggles as single mum, Ugly Love Colleen Hoover, Chapter 32 killed me…

BUT WHAT THE F Author Tillie Cole, at 3% I was already wiping big fat tear splats off my kindle, and it stayed that way until the very end. What a beautifully emotional coming of age book, my heart aches and my tears run dry for Poppy and Rune “as special as special can be” Poppy and Rune will stay forever in my heart.

So much more than “5 moonbeam hearts and sunshine stars” for Tillie’s A Thousand Boy Kisses.

“I think they’re leaving it all behind. I think they woke up one day and decided there’s more to life. Laurelin and Sierra have knocked it out of the park, what an amazing collaboration, Porn Star is packed full of red hot sex, exactly what you’d expect from them, but given these ladies literary talents the sex isn’t the main focus, and there is a good solid storyline that carries you through the pages. Can’t wait to see more projects from #TeamLaurra.

Logan O’Toole is the biggest star in porn, he is loved by everyone and he loves his job, especially sex. Devi is Logan’s secret crush and fellow porn star. They begin working on a new project together on an adult reality show filmed over 6 weeks that brings them much closer. As they spend more time together intimately as co-workers and off screen as friends/lovers, can they really sustain a long term relationship when working in the porn industry.

I loved these characters, they are full of life, laughs and good times, my people!

Since before Christmas I’ve been pestering Gemma to write faster, and faster, Caught by Her is the conclusion of Nate & Lena’s story in Freed by Him, you do have to read the first book as it end’s on the mother of all cliffies, I think my heart actually left my chest!!! I’m not going to bang on about characters, you’ve read the first book you already know Nate is hot as hell and Lena packs a punch.

You redeemed yourself young lady, Caught by Her picks straight up where Freed by Him left off, and continues Nate and Lena’s story of struggles on the path to their HEA, don’t get me wrong they get their HEA but it doesn’t come drama free, and there is drama of the worst kind, I had no clue what was going to happen, you got me good Gem! It has a plot twist beyond plot twist, my heart was literally squeezed to death and ripped out and tossed with the tissues that were over flowing in my bin.

Gem you killed it! what a fantastic conclusion, the writing was on point and I couldn’t find a single fault apart from…. When are we getting Marcus or Maddie’s story, or even Marcus and Maddie’s story?!

I have so much love for K Webster’s books, I started out the year having not read anything by Kristi, then I won a copy of Dirty Ugly Toy direct and she got me, she had me hooked, and I one-clicked frenzied Broken, Wrong, Apartment 2B (THIS IS A MUST READ), and now This is War Baby, Kristi’s writing style in her darker books is just how I love it, dirty raw angry and the men are off the scoville scale, I just want to inhale her words.

This is War, Baby is a must read for anyone that loves a dark, angst, raw, emotional plot and doesn’t want all the happy tears, hearts and flowers of a contemporary romance. Kristi has carved out a place in my heart and will always be a go to author for me now, I bloody love you!!!
