I want to be an ‘Adopted Bennett’!!!!!!!!!

This is my first Layla Hagen read, and she got me straight away, this lady know’s what I like. Bring on Sebastian Bennett, dominant, sexy, suited pure alpha male AND he owns a precious jewels empire.

Ava Lindt was raised by her hard working single mum, and this laid the foundations for her character, she is an independent, successful woman, working as a New York Marketing Consultant, travelling the world assisting companies with their marketing campaigns. She loves her job, and takes her career very seriously, but you know where this is going…. Her company has a clause built into every contract “NO fraternizing between employees or clients”. Ava’s professional, she won’t do anything that may jeopardise her goal, to save enough money to buy her own to place in NYC. She thought she was happy with her life, until she joined Bennett Enterprises to work on their new catwalk campaign, and was introduced to the Bennett’s.

Sebastian Bennett, is confident, wealthy, extremely good looking, and hugely successful in his industry. Bennett Enterprises was set-up by Sebastian with the help of family, some of whom work for him (Logan, Pippa, Christopher and Max). Sebastian doesn’t come from a wealthy background, his parent’s were ranchers, they had always struggled financially, and with 9 children (Sebastian, Logan, Pippa, Alice, twins Christopher & Max, twins (2) Blake & Daniel and Summer) it wasn’t easy. Sebastian has a very loving close family, his parent’s have been married 36 years, and he’s extremely protective of his siblings. His past experiences with women have taught him that they just want access to his bank account and spend his money, so he’s not looking for romance or love… until Ava Lindt walks into his office.

I really enjoyed this book from start to finish, it was a good easy read, it wasn’t over thought or complex with plot twist and turns, it doesn’t have a heroine with family issues or a screwed up alpha with an unrepairable heart, it was simple, light hearted BUT fulfilling. Layla has made all the characters in the book easy to relate to, and you get to see a little snippet of each of them throughout the book.

Can’t wait to read the other Bennett books, especially Pippa, she needs her HEA!!
