Make Me Believe, Karen Ferry

Make Me Believe (Believe, #1)Make Me Believe by Karen Ferry

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is Karen Ferry’s debut book, and wow I BELIEVE. I’d highly recommend Make Me Believe to any romantics, there were plenty of tears, laughs, and a cold shower or 2. Daniel the geek virgin and the troubled tattooed sex addict beauty, it was an emotional rollercoaster but Karen certainly didn’t cut back on the sexfactor. I found Emma a bit difficult to like at the beginning, until her past started coming to light and then you began to truly understand Emma, then I was routing for Emma all the way, but Daniel also isn’t without his own troubles, aided by a stutter and dyslexia (which bring them first together). The book was a rough guide to friendship, breaking down walls, and learning to trust, hope and then finally love. Daniel helped Emma overcome her past and he grew their opposites attract friendship into a beautiful love story that you just wanted to jump into the pages and be part of. Like Hans Christian Anderson’s Ugly Duckling, Daniel turned into a beautiful swan, with Emma beside him every step of the way.

Karen has done an amazing job on her first book, English is not her first language but you’d never guess, and the story was set in the beautiful city of Copenhagen, which I was fortunate enough to visit a few years back. Well done Karen, a fantastic beautiful read, I’m so excited to read more from you ~ 2 Girls & Their Kindles
