Dirty English, Ilsa Madden-Mills

Dirty EnglishDirty English by Ilsa Madden-Mills

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Plot – 4
Hotness Level – 4 (wouldn’t mind a Declan & Dax sandwich)
Character Development – 3.5
Romance level – 3.5
Tearjerker – 0

This is my first read by this author, it started out quite dark with emotion that got a little lost along the way. I think Elizabeth had huge scope for her character, poor upbringing, wrong side of the tracks, I would like to have read more about her character, what was the background behind designing jewelry, what exactly happened when Shelley picked her up from the hotel, just a bit more depth. My only critic would be the English phrasing, men rarely use the term ‘Love’ at the end of a sentence in general conversation to a woman unless you’re from East London (Cockney), same as sweetheart, treacle, her in-doors… but that’s me being English, other than that a good 4 star read ~ Lynsey x
